A Christmas Treat and My Annual Fasting

One thing that increased within my spiritual wellness this year was fasting. I was challenged to fast more this year, and I am not mad because it is now a necessity. God pushed me to do things I never did before in regards to sacrificing. When I tell you I was stretched, I was stretched. I tapped into some power and strength I did not know I had. I was able to hear Him and see Him like never before this though, and I believe it was because I fasted more than usual. What really shocked me was that I never really considered fasting financially. We always cut off food, social media, alcohol, or entertainment; but what about money?
I participated in a 21 day financial fast and it was the icing on the cake to ending this year in major undoing. It was amazing and hard. I gained knowledge, discipline, and forgiveness as I fasted over my finances. A full review will be up soon on this book, but this book really helped gain peace in this area. I am proud to say I feel less stressed and worried when it comes to this topic. The work has started that I prayed for in regards to this area! A financial fast will be added to my routine going forward. It’s not just to save, but make sure I am being a good steward over my finances.
Now, one thing that will not change is my end of the year fast. I love to set the tone of the new year in God’s presence. I love to set the tone with His love, counseling, promises, and instruction. I also like to release during this time. I don’t want to carry any 2021 baggage, thoughts, emotions, situations, etc. with me into the new year. This is my time to commune with God. I will be doing this for five days this year instead of seven. Five is my spiritual number in this season. You are more than welcome to join me. It will be no social media, no soda or juices, and no food from 6 am to 12 pm. Starting December 26, 2021 - December 30, 2021.

I am so excited about this gift to myself. You know I love coffee! I have been obsessed with watching coffee reels since reels came about on Instagram, so I have been seeing Nespresso machine’s for quite some time. I decided to step into the Luxury realm and upgrade to a Nespresso machine! You will definitely be seeing more coffee content from me! Of course I will be upgrading my coffee bar too, so stay tuned. I added my wish list so you can get the vibe of how it is going to look.
