Review
What can I say. This book changed my life! I was a woman who had many unrealistic and negative perceptions when it came to money. I am a woman who is walking through deliverance from a financial stronghold. I will speak about that another time, but this book truly was a stepping stone to my freedom.
I always thought that wealth was all about money and how much you have. Boy was I wrong. Mrs. Patrice broke it all the way down for me. Saying “wealth is the condition of well-being or happiness. Money is only one factor in that happiness. When you take care of those things that make life worth-while, you become the kind of person who attracts and receives the wealth you desire. Money is a result of understanding what you want and who you have to become to actually receive it.” Child, I have that highlighted in the book.
Mrs. Patrice uses the six pillars of wealth to help people redefine wealth for themselves.
FIT pillar
People pillar
Space pillar
Faith pillar
Work Pillar
Money pillar
I love how the book is sectioned off. It makes it easier to read and know which pillar she is on. She has the pillars broken down into parts 1-6 and the chapters are named accordingly in that specific part of the book. I love to take notes and she literally has a question of reflection throughout the chapters. Her questions really make you stop and think. They are truly aligned to help redefine what you have learned, reflect on where you are, take up inventory on what is not serving you, envision where you want to be, and convict you for what you are allowing in your life. BUT, the one thing I love about this book and Mrs. Patrice is how she showed up. She tells her story. I did not think her book was going to dig into my own roots, but they did because of her authenticity. She also includes examples from interviews she did on her podcast with other women and men that ties into her pillars. She truly does give examples of how your mindset ties into your wealth. I even wrote the wealth affirmations on sticky notes so I can read them out loud everyday. This book shifted things for me and I believe it will shift things for you too. Don’t be crazy and not purchase this book. It doesn't matter if your account is overflowing with money. Wealth is so much more than dollar bills. I ended up subscribing to her podcast and signing up for her Chase Purpose, Not Money challenge. She is just that good.
