The upside of falling graphic

Synopsis:
It’s been years since seventeen-year-old Becca Hart believed in true love. But when her former best friend teases her for not having a boyfriend, Becca impulsively pretends she’s been secretly seeing someone. Brett Wells has it all. Being captain of the football team and one of the most popular guys in school, he should have no problem finding someone to date, but he’s always been more focused on his future than who to bring to prom. When he overhears Becca’s lie, Brett decides to step in and be her mystery guy. It’s the perfect solution: he gets people off his back for not dating and she can keep up the ruse.

Review

This was such an adorable book. I am glad I found this book in the Prime section. I was mad because I did not budget for my August read, but God always has a better option. I was able to read this book for free because I am a prime member.

I was actually hooked on this book. I read it in a week. The story line was not what I was expecting at all. It was a page turner waiting for the answers. Becca was the typical bookworm, and I saw myself in her a lot. Even her story of coming from a divorce household and how that made her perception on love and marriage change.

Bret on the other hand didn’t come from that. His story was what I was most intrigued by. Even though it started out as the typical high school boy story, it had some twists and turns in it that I wasn’t expecting.

The two of them together was such an unlikely match, but those are the ones that turn out great. It brought something out of both of them that they didn’t see coming. This is a book perfect for the fall weather. Get a blanket and some coffee and you're all set.
