Monday Message: Your Position is Important

Monday Message
45 Therefore many of the Jews who had come to visit Mary, and had seen what Jesus did, believed in him. 46 But some of them went to the Pharisees and told them what Jesus had done. 47 Then the chief priests and the Pharisees called a meeting of the Sanhedrin.

“What are we accomplishing?” they asked. “Here is this man performing many signs. 48 If we let him go on like this, everyone will believe in him, and then the Romans will come and take away both our temple and our nation.”

49 Then one of them, named Caiaphas, who was high priest that year, spoke up, “You know nothing at all! 50 You do not realize that it is better for you that one man die for the people than that the whole nation perish.”

51 He did not say this on his own, but as high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the Jewish nation, 52 and not only for that nation but also for the scattered children of God, to bring them together and make them one. 53 So from that day on they plotted to take his life.
— John 11: 45-53

After Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead there were some who ran back to tell the Pharisees the miracle they had just seen. Of course the Pharisees were hot.  They didn’t want anyone relieving in Jesus and they didn’t want their positions taken. However, the high priest that year Caiaphas spoke up and prophesied the meaning of Jesus dying. This man prophesied in a place where no one believed in Jesus. They cursed His name. He didn’t know what he was doing, but He was being used by God to help facilitate God’s plan. He was speaking up to give the Pharisees a chance to see that what they were doing was helping the true mission of Jesus. They were focused on a small number of people believing, but by Jesus dying they weren't aware that a whole nation would believe in the name of Jesus.

Some of us are in positions where we have the ability to speak to unbelievers and believers that are hurting and lost. When people speak of saving the lost it does not always mean people that aren’t saved. God told me that some of the saved people are lost. We have the ability and the anointing to speak what God says, heal the sick, pray away a dark cloud, shift the atmosphere, call out demons, break generational curses, mend the broken hearted, and set the captives free. Most of all we have the power to exhibit the love of God. It may not be the ideal position, but you are not the ideal woman! Regardless of your workspace, title, company, degrees, age, or your bank account. You don’t have to be perfect or work your way to a certain level of holiness to be used by God. You have a voice that has a message in it. You have gifts and skills that someone needs! Open it and let the deaf ears here and the blind eyes see! Your position is important! There is someone waiting on you. Your position is important, and if you don’t know what you're called to do in your position, ask God to reveal it to you. We have work to do. Have a great week sis.
